1. Who this policy applies to
This Policy applies to every person or organisation that accesses or uses Zari, including business owners, administrators, team members, invited users, trial users, paying subscribers, support contacts, and anyone interacting with our website, portal, mobile app, or related billing and support flows.
Zari is operated by Powrgen Limited. Zari is a trading name of Powrgen Limited.
2. Purpose of this policy
This Policy explains what kinds of use are allowed and not allowed when using Zari. It helps protect users, businesses, customer data, payment systems, support channels, and the wider service environment.
By using Zari, you agree to follow this Policy together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, billing terms, and any additional rules we publish for specific features.
3. Permitted use
You may use Zari only for legitimate business, organisational, administrative, bookkeeping, invoicing, quoting, billing, reporting, or related operational purposes that are lawful in your jurisdiction and consistent with our Terms.
You may create and manage records such as sales, expenses, customers, products, invoices, receipts, quotes, payments, recurring costs, and team access details, provided the information you enter is lawful, accurate enough for your intended purpose, and not misleading in a way that could harm others.
4. You must not use Zari for illegal or harmful activity
You must not use Zari to commit, support, hide, promote, or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or harmful activity.
This includes, for example, using Zari to create false business records, launder money, misrepresent transactions, impersonate a person or business, evade taxes or legal obligations, process unlawful payments, deceive customers, or interfere with investigations, audits, or enforcement processes.
5. Prohibited content and records
You must not upload, store, transmit, generate, or share through Zari any content or data that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent, infringing, malicious, or otherwise harmful.
You must not use Zari to store or circulate malware, phishing content, scam materials, stolen data, unlawful personal data, or content that violates the rights of others.
You must not knowingly enter fabricated invoices, receipts, customer records, payment confirmations, or approval references in a way that is intended to mislead, defraud, or conceal wrongdoing.
6. Payment, billing, and subscription misuse
You must not misuse any Zari payment, billing, upgrade, renewal, admin-support, or subscription flow.
This includes attempting to bypass payment obligations, manipulating seat counts dishonestly, submitting fake proof of payment, reusing transaction references improperly, disputing legitimate charges in bad faith, or trying to gain access to paid features without authorisation.
If you make a direct or manual payment through a supported channel, you must provide truthful payment details. We may request additional information to confirm or reconcile a payment before updating access.
7. Security and platform integrity
You must not attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, bypass, disable, or interfere with the security, availability, integrity, or normal functioning of Zari.
This includes unauthorised access attempts, credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, scraping beyond permitted use, abuse of APIs or hidden endpoints, unauthorised automation, malware deployment, denial-of-service activity, or attempts to access another business's data without permission.
You must keep your login details reasonably secure and must not knowingly share your credentials in a way that puts your account or another business at risk.
8. Team access and account responsibility
Business owners and administrators are responsible for granting access only to appropriate users, using role permissions responsibly, and removing or limiting access when it is no longer needed.
You must not invite users under false identities, give access to unauthorised persons, or use team access in a way that circumvents subscription, security, or accountability controls.
9. Data responsibility
You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the business data you enter into Zari, including customer information, invoices, receipts, product records, payment records, and internal notes.
You must not enter personal data or sensitive information unless you have a lawful basis and business need to do so. Where you use Zari on behalf of a business, it is your responsibility to ensure that your collection and use of that data complies with applicable law.
10. Third-party services and integrations
If you connect or use third-party services, payment channels, app stores, communication platforms, analytics tools, hosting services, or support tools with Zari, you must use them lawfully and in accordance with their own terms and policies.
We may suspend or limit related functionality if we believe an integration, payment method, or support channel is being misused, compromised, or used in a way that creates legal, fraud, or operational risk.
11. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this Policy, we may investigate, restrict, suspend, deactivate, or terminate access to some or all of the service, with or without advance notice depending on the seriousness of the issue.
We may also remove content, refuse payment updates, block support actions, preserve logs, escalate matters to business owners, or take other reasonable steps to protect users, the platform, and our legal rights.
Serious cases may also be reported to payment providers, hosting partners, professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other appropriate third parties where justified.
12. Reporting misuse
If you believe Zari is being misused, or if you spot suspicious activity, security issues, billing abuse, fraud indicators, or unlawful content, please report it to us.
